Associate Creative Director/Copywriter

I love what I do. My job is fun. And, that makes me lucky.

Bitten by the ad bug, I began over 12 years ago in the traditional ad world doing broadcast and print, but also got my feet wet in digital near its introduction to the advertising world (remember 15k gif banner ads?). Over the years, I've dabbled back and forth between the two, which has helped me to bring traditional philosophies into the digital work I do (e.g. branding) and giving it more depth and breadth. The vehicles for delivering a message change, but the premise behind it remains the same.

I'm curious. I taught myself HTML, CSS and CS products because I wanted to know how they worked. The way in which all facets of the business come together and effect each other interests me, from creative to analytics. Through my contributions to Adland.tv, on my own blog and in my social networks, I'm steeped in the latest and greatest going on in the ad and tech worlds. I have a wide range of interests and am always looking to learn--and to apply it to my work.

From high-tech to ice cream, I've created communication campaigns to engage, inform, and entertain in a myriad of media for clients in a variety of verticals. My work has helped clients achieve industry acclaim in Social through strategy and engaging campaigns. My experience also includes developing engaging creative strategies to achieve business objectives, managing and overseeing creative talent, presenting and interacting with clients, leading and participating in pitch/new business work, and establishing internal processes and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency in-house.

Digital is evolving almost daily and my goal is to create innovative and exciting engagements that bring clients success. In the end, "The idea's the thing."
